New developments at SECURITY 2022.

New developments at SECURITY 2022.

The Velbert-based company CARL WITTKOPP will be exhibiting a whole range of new and further developments across its broad-based lock range at SECURITY ESSEN 2022.

This year, the company is also focusing on and presenting products for a very wide range of target markets. The focus here is on solutions for the OEM (safe manufacturers /dealers), bank as well as retail chain/branch target groups.

WITTKOPP will also be presenting a very special highlight at the world’s leading trade fair for security products:

ANCHOR 7000 is an electronic, self-locking motor-driven lock combined with a mechanical emergency lock – both locks combined in a casing only 30 mm in depth. The new ANCHOR software generation thus offers a wide range of different software versions in a single product. All in all, a veritable highlight product that will revolutionise the safe market!

ANCHOR 7000 is certified up to lock class 2 and is therefore suitable for use with safes up to Grade V (according to EN 1143-1/VdS 2450).

Further new developments of the ANCHOR and PRIMOR ranges will be revealed to the public for the first time in Essen. They include the A-2600 and the P-2600  – both “deadbolt” lock models, which are also ideal for use on smaller safes.

Although the casings of the locks are similar, the technical features of the ranges differ. The PRIMOR series covers traditional market requirements for safe locks while ANCHOR is heading in a new future-centric direction. This can be seen, for example, in a digital interface that creates the technical prerequisites for applications, such as apps, displays or remote maintenance, or the combination of different software versions in a single lock – to name just two key features.

The WITTKOPP range of swing bolt locks is extended by the new P-1600.

Of course, the WITTKOPP exhibition stand will also be showcasing the proven FinKey BT biometric systems (with app connection) and the GATOR BioScan, both of which will be available for “live testing” by prospective customers.

Yet another unique “highlight” is the new GATOR DS display keypad, which will also be on show at SECURITY. The GATOR DS will complement the GATOR lock range with a high-performance and sophisticated designer keypad with magnetic lock.

GATOR DS is breaking new ground with code entry: digits 0 to 9 appear on the display and need to be confirmed by the keys above and below. The digits are always displayed in a different order to prevent people from spying on finger movements when the code is entered. Finger movements are therefore always different.

The display can also be equipped with an additional privacy filter, meaning that codes cannot be spied on by unauthorised persons. The battery, which is accessible externally, enables quick battery replacement without impairing the security of the high-security door.

Yet another highlight product that WITTKOPP will be presenting at the trade fair is the R3: an extremely high-grade keypad model that can be used as a fixed keypad, rotating input unit or with combined boltwork actuation. The R3 represents a pre-series product and will complete the WITTKOPP product range from the 1st quarter of 2023.

Alongside the WITTKOPP innovations, the company will also be exhibition products from the former STUV range for the first time with the TULOX, SWINGLOX, IVOX and RELOX lock systems. Two years ago, WITTKOPP took over the STUV safe lock division and now, just in time for the exhibition, has completed the integration of the products into the company.

WITTKOPP will once again be demonstrating its impressive performance as a leading company in the industry at SECURITY in Essen.
