Revenue growth of more than 5 per cent in 2025: German security market grows to more than 34 billion euros

IT security and security service providers drive revenue growth

The German security market continued its growth trajectory in 2025. According to industry figures, the individual segments generated combined revenue growth of 5.9 per cent in 2025 compared with 2024, reaching 34.84 billion euros. Global crises such as the war in Ukraine and conflicts in the Middle East continue to drive digitalisation and automation as supply chains remain at risk and energy costs rise.

Once again, the IT security segment in particular delivered strong revenue growth between 2024 and 2025. Security services also recorded partly significant increases in revenue in 2025 compared with previous years.
