PaintCam Industries develops security cameras with active deterrence. Conventional systems only record an incident — PaintCam Eve intervenes while it is happening.

AI-based detection distinguishes between people and animals and triggers an escalating response: light, voice warning and, if required, marking or deterring the intruder with biodegradable .68 calibre projectiles — either paint markers or PAVA-based rounds. Authorised people and up to 20 pets can be stored via whitelist or facial recognition, so they are never targeted.

Control stays with the operator: three operating modes — Off, User Approval and Autonomous — determine whether a human or the system pulls the trigger.

The Eve range covers four models, from an entry-level unit to a facial-recognition version, plus a variant built for species-specific wildlife deterrence. All models are IP66-rated, CE certified, offer 30 m night vision and integrate into existing infrastructure via ONVIF/RTSP. For professional deployments, the PTC Monitoring Centre manages sites with 256+ devices.
