With SOLARIS NG, Hirsch introduces the next evolution of its proven autonomous infrared light barrier – raising perimeter protection to a new level. The new generation combines 35 years of experience in infrared technology with two decisive innovations: a range extended to up to 1,200 metres and a new self-healing mesh network.
Significantly greater range
Where limits once stood, SOLARIS NG opens up new possibilities: with a range of up to 1,200 metres, even extensive perimeters and large sites can be secured seamlessly with fewer components – ideal for critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, airports and substations.
New self-healing mesh network
The new self-healing wireless mesh network ensures that communication between the columns is automatically maintained via alternative routes, even if individual nodes fail. The result: maximum resilience, robust installations and a network that stabilises itself – with no manual intervention required.
100 per cent autonomous – no groundwork, no cabling
SOLARIS NG runs entirely off-grid using a solar module and battery, requiring neither power cables nor structural modifications. The integrated radio transmitter/receiver eliminates all wiring, while encrypted, private LoRa® communication reliably secures data transmission.
Intelligent detection, fewer false alarms
Using multiple simultaneous detection modes and time-based alarm triggering, SOLARIS NG precisely filters an intruder's size and movement speed – for noticeably fewer unwanted alarms. New, too, is the Discri-Train function, which reliably distinguishes a passing vehicle from a person walking through.
Seamless integration
Via the MAXIBUS UNIVERSAL hub, SOLARIS NG integrates easily into the VMS – with secured data transmission (802.1X, TLS), API connectivity and up to 136 switching outputs.
