The CARRIDA Plate-i Basic is the entry-level camera for vehicle access control by number plate. It captures the plate of approaching vehicles, checks it against stored lists and forwards the result to the barrier or gate controller. Cards, codes and remote keys become unnecessary. The vehicle itself acts as the access medium.
The camera works on its own, with no additional server or PC. All processing happens inside the device. Installation is straightforward: power, network, done. A web interface handles permissions, event review and integration with other systems.

The CARRIDA Dragon+ is a particularly compact camera, roughly the size of a credit card, with complete number plate recognition on board. It was developed for manufacturers and system integrators who want to embed plate recognition into their own products or fit it into tight installation spaces. Despite its size, it works fully on its own. Processing, list matching and output happen inside the device.
Made in Germany
The Dragon+ is fully developed and manufactured in Germany. This makes it the first choice for applications with requirements on supply chain security, data protection and long-term availability, including critical infrastructure, public authorities and OEM projects with strict compliance demands.
Direct integration into barriers and systems
Thanks to its compact form factor and robust IP67 housing, the Dragon+ can be built directly into barrier systems, bollards, columns and other security components. Instead of mounting a separate camera next to the equipment, plate recognition becomes part of the system itself. This reduces installation effort, simplifies cabling and results in a clean, integrated solution.
Available with three lens options (8 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm) for different detection distances.

The CARRIDA Plate-i Plus reads number plates faster, more accurately and under more demanding conditions. While the Basic version is built for classic barrier scenarios, the Plus is the right choice where vehicles pass without stopping, multiple lanes need to be covered or additional information such as vehicle make and model is required.
With significantly higher processing power, it captures plates at higher speeds and delivers results in real time to security or traffic management systems. Optionally available with AI-based make and model recognition, which identifies the vehicle even when the plate is obscured or manipulated.
Advanced Detection: one vehicle, one record
The Plate-i Plus links all attributes of a vehicle into a single, coherent record. Plate, make, model, colour and further attributes belong unambiguously to one event. This creates a solid foundation for security and analytics systems: vehicles can still be identified reliably when individual attributes are unclear, and clean, searchable records are available for review and forensic work.
