The SSB Battery Pure Lead Power series comprises high-performance pure lead batteries with TPPL technology (‘Thin Plate Pure Lead’). Thanks to their exceptionally long service life, they are an ideal alternative to conventional OGi and OPzS batteries. Developed for demanding applications, they are characterised by a high discharge rate in a short time and a long service life. They are temperature-resistant (-35 °C to +65 °C) and can be recharged quickly. Typical applications include BSV/UPS systems, emergency lighting and telecommunications.

The SSB Grid Power series stands for sealed high-temperature lead-acid batteries, which represent an excellent product alternative to conventional, sealed batteries. The high-temperature lead-acid batteries impress with their compact design, high performance and a long service life of 15 years (EUROBAT classification: >12 years, Very Long Life) under extreme ambient temperatures of 35 °C. The SSB Grid Power series is completely maintenance-free, has a high savings potential in terms of energy and maintenance costs and a reduced carbon footprint. The SSB Grid Power series is particularly suitable for applications in emergency power, UPS and BSV systems.

Our front terminal series (FT) fulfils all requirements for valve-regulated lead-acid batteries and, in addition to excellent discharge performance, offers a service life of up to 12 years according to EUROBAT. The most common areas of application are uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) as well as telecommunication and safety lighting systems.

Our own brand SSB Battery stands for the highest level of quality and reliability. The SSB Battery range includes series for short discharge times in high-current applications in the UPS sector and for applications with long autonomy times in the emergency and safety lighting sector. The batteries combine a very high and efficient energy density with an extended service life.

The SSB Battery SBL-HR Xtreme series stands for sealed and absolutely maintenance-free lead-acid batteries, also known as AGM batteries (Absorbent Glass Mat).

HR stands for „High Rate“, i.e. for a high discharge current within a very short time. The Xtreme feature means extremely high discharge rates and 30% more high-current power at up to 35% less space requirement. * In addition to an excellent discharge behavior the series offers a service life of > 12 years („Very Long Life“ according to EUROBAT). Therefore, the SSB Battery SBL-HR Xtreme series is optimally designed for solid high-current applications - especially UPS and emergency generator with diesel.

All SSB Battery SBL-HR Xtreme batteries have a V0 plastic container (flame retardant according to UL94 standard), which guarantees optimum safety and durability.
