AMG Systems introduces the compact AMG577 Series industrial managed Ethernet switches with advanced PoE and multi-gig connectivity in a 1U 19-inch form.
Designed for space-constrained industrial rack applications, the new layer 2+ managed switches deliver industrial reliability, multi-gig performance, integrated power, and exceptional space savings.
Purpose-built for space-constrained industrial 19-inch rack applications, including roadside cabinets, transportation infrastructure, utilities, and critical security networks, the AMG577 Series combines industrial networking performance and integrated power capabilities into a compact 1U rack-mount platform.
Unlike traditional deployments that can require 4U to 5U of rack space to accommodate an industrial Ethernet switch and separate DIN rail-mounted power supply, the AMG577 Series integrates a fully industrial managed switch and a 350W power supply within a single 1U enclosure. This innovative design simplifies installation, reduces cabinet space requirements, and lowers overall system complexity.
The AMG577 Series features eight Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet ports and three multi-rate SFP uplink ports supporting 100Mb, 1Gb, and 2.5Gb connectivity, providing the flexibility required for modern industrial, transportation, security, utility, and critical infrastructure networks.
Engineered for dependable operation in harsh environments, the AMG577 Series supports an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C. Advanced thermal engineering enables the switch to operate using a fully conduction-cooled, no-fan design, eliminating moving parts to maximize reliability while minimizing maintenance requirements.
The new series also comes with AMG's industry-leading lifetime warranty.
AMG Systems of the United Kingdom and USA has introduced the AMG Secure-Net™ SFP carrier, an SFP-based IP-level device that offers 128-bit encryption for traffic over any IP network. This device operates as an SFP carrier and can host most standard MSA-compliant 100Mb or 1Gb SFP modules. The Secure-Net™ SFP carrier transparently envelopes a wide variety of SFPs, enabling full reuse of existing equipment and easy deployment across various infrastructure types, including both fiber and copper lines.
The SFP carrier is easy to use with standard MSA-compatible SFP ports on AMG switches, media converters, and third-party devices, including switches, routers, and servers from other manufacturers. This removes the need for external power, saving space and reducing cabling costs.
The Secure-Net™ SFP carrier supports end-to-end static IPsec in transport mode for highly secure 128-bit AES-GCM-ESP encrypted network links in both point-to-point and multipoint deployments.
The all-new AMG 350 Series delivers industrial grade, high-performance industrial Ethernet switching for demanding edge network applications. Available with 100Mbps or Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and optional PoE power delivery up to 90W, the 350 Series combines simple deployment, industrial reliability, and flexible connectivity in a compact form factor.
With five RJ45 Ethernet ports and two Gigabit SFP ports, the AMG 350 Series is ideal for intelligent transportation systems, security networks, roadside infrastructure, camera deployments, and industrial automation applications.
Engineered to perform where standard networking equipment cannot, the AMG 350 Series operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C, making it ideal for installation in roadside cabinets, utility enclosures, camera poles, and other harsh industrial environments.
