Josef Waclaw, CEO, Infotecs GmbH
SYNOPSIS:
Drones have proven to be efficient for security and surveillance and offer key advantages to personnel operating on the ground. Drones also become useful in many other areas, such as building maintenance or disaster relief operations. The video data recorded by drones can be highly sensitive, so unauthorized parties must have no access to them. The protection and security of these data are critical.
In his speech, Mr. Josef Waclaw will show how live video data transferred from drones via mobile networks can be encrypted end-to-end and thus protected from cybercriminals’ attacks. Thus, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) can establish encrypted connections with their ground stations or directly with authorized mobile end devices.
