The EntroWatch access control solution offers exceptional value in security management with its array of features, including multi-language support, CCTV live monitoring, peer to peer I/O mapping, global anti-passback, cvard design, scheduled actions and custom card format editor. EntroWatch also provides seamless integration with the Invixium range of biometric readers and Milestone XProtect Video Management Solutions.
Remsdaq has released a new brochure providing a systems overview for its Entro range of access door controllers, readers and software packages.
The new brochure, prepared for Security Essen, describes key features including the BACnet interface standard on the EntroStar and EntroNet door controllers. BACnet is the standard building automation protocol defined by ASHRAE, ANSI and ISO16484-5. Integrating Entro access door controllers into a smart building can lead to improved building performance, reduced energy usage and a more comfortable environment for occupants and visitors.
Another key element within the Entro Series is the access control management software package, EntroWatch. The software is easy to set-up and features intuitive screen layouts from which to configure, monitor and control the connected EntroStar and EntroNet door controllers and up to 250,000 credentials.
The Entro Series also integrates with other third-party devices including biometric readers, third-party readers, third-party database integration, ONVIF Profile S video streaming, VMS integration (via Milestone) and supports third-party BACnet I/O devices. Remsdaq also provide a range of enclosures, power supplies and battery back-up options to ensure the access door controllers remain powered during a mains power supply failure.
The Entro Series is unique in that Remsdaq manufactures and supplies the door access controllers (EntroStar and EntroNet), the EntroWatch management software and EntroPad readers.
The EntroPad reader is available with an English or Arabic keypad, can act as a secure card reader, enrolment reader, configuration reader and provide a request to exit (RTE) function. Remsdaq have also developed an ‘R’ class secure credential called EntroPass for use with EntroPad readers on a card or key fob.
EntroPad also forms part of the Entro management kit which can be used to program a series of function within the EntroPad reader using programming cards. Key changeable functions include readable card formats, LED colours and audible output. Typical applications include: commercial and retail premises, public sector offices, libraries and museums, schools, colleges and universities, rental and student accommodation, hospitals and healthcare buildings, military and high-security installations, leisure centres, fitness and sports clubs, oil, gas and petrochemical sites, industrial manufacturing plants and financial institutions.
The Entro Series for part of a wider security solutions portfolio that also includes the Sabre Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) and StarWatch an enterprise access control suite for large installations including airports.
