More safety for large outdoor facilities thanks to a new radar system
The new radar system iSYS-5020 triples the previous range from the iSYS-5010 of 50 metres to up to 150 metres. With this expansion, an area over 10,000 m² in size can be monitored. The product series has been developed especially for security technology manufacturers and is a perfect complement to video surveillance. The advantages of robust radar technology are particularly evident in outdoor area monitoring.

The INS radar systems from InnoSenT
The INS series has been developed for home automation and security. By detecting the direction of movement of a detected object or the presence or absence of persons, this product line is mainly used for proximity switches or motion detectors. Depending on the model and intended use, the sensor already reacts to persons at a distance of at least 10 meters (motion detector) or less than 5 cm (proximity switch). The speed and the direction of movement are also detected by the radar technology of the INS and can be displayed by means of an LED display or can be deliverd via interface to another system. The INS provides a convenient and efficient non-contact operation of, for example, the lighting of interiors and at the same time the surveillance of the interior with leaving the room.

The experts in radar technology will be exhibiting at the leading trade fair for the security industry, in Essen.
Donnersdorf, Germany, 09/08/2018. At Security in Essen from 25 to 28/09/2018, InnoSenT GmbH will inform visitors about its security products and present its new iSYS-5020 system to the public for the first time at its trade fair booth (Hall 7, Booth B 7B27). With its presentation entitled “Rely on more senses”, the company will also report on the status quo and the benefits of radar sensor systems for the security market.
As one of the leading companies in its industry, InnoSenT wishes to offer broad opportunities for the various prospective customers to learn more about radar. The presentation by Christian Düring, Product Manager at InnoSenT GmbH, on 26/09/2018 at 11:45 a.m. (Hall 2, Booth 2B99) will cast light on the functionality of the technology, its benefits for the security industry and its applications. He will also explain how sensors support other technologies such as cameras. “The growing demand drives manufacturers of security systems to look for new solutions to optimise their products. This has pushed radar sensors increasingly into focus. A further trend is the combination of radar and video technology, which yields unbeatable synergy effects”, says Düring.
Two supporting 24GHz radar systems developed by InnoSenT specifically to optimise video surveillance will be on display at the trade fair booth. In addition to the iSYS-5010 radar system, InnoSenT will also exhibit the iSYS-5020, which has only recently become available. The new product boasts the same features as the iSYS-5010, which has been nominated for the GIT SECURITY AWARD 2019. However, the new version impresses with five times the coverage area. The system thus detects, classifies, and filters objects up to 150 metres away. This makes it ideal for the large-area monitoring of outdoor areas. Both products can be used either in combination with a camera or as a stand-alone set-up.
Products for close range can also be found in InnoSenT’s portfolio. At Security, exhibits from the SMR and the INS series will be on show at the trade fair booth, among others. The InnoSenT team will be happy to provide visitors with individual consultation regarding suitable radar solutions or share their experience at any time.
The InnoSenT team invites you to experience radar live at their exhibition area and learn more about the technology. In addition to interactive media on site, InnoSenT will also follow the trade fair event on their social media channels and reports on all highlights. Further information about the company’s exhibition at Security can be found on the company website and social media.
New radar system iSYS-5020 detects objects within a detection area of over 10,000 m².
Donnersdorf (Germany), 21/06/2018 - Already in 2017, InnoSenT GmbH presented the iSYS-5010 radar system. This is now being followed by the next system of this series: The new iSYS-5020 triples the previous range of 50 metres to up to 150 metres. With this expansion, an area over 10,000 m² in size can be monitored.
The product series has been developed especially for security technology manufacturers and as a complement to video surveillance. The interaction of the two security technologies contributes to increasing the reliability of area surveillance. While radar technology detects anonymously and in an individually configurable detection area, the CCTV system additionally provides high-resolution images.
False alarms are reduced to a minimum and the surveillance of, for example, large-scale industrial sites, hazard areas and outdoor areas is optimised. Another advantage is that the very robust radar technology provides information independent of the weather, thus compensating, for example, for clouded images in poor lighting conditions using the information provided by the radar system. Using data on distance, movement, speed and the differentiation between static and moving objects, detections can be easily categorised.
With the implementation of configurable danger zones, the iSYS-5020 offers an additional advantage over camera systems: The target history is very valuable for assessing the security situation. Early detection of risk situations for large-scale area surveillance allows critical time gains in order to initiate further security measures. The radar system iSYS-5020 has the same impressive features as the iSYS-5010 and adds further possible uses for video and radar technology.
At the Security trade fair in Essen, InnoSenT GmbH will be presenting its new product to the public for the first time at its trade fair booth (Hall 4, Booth 4A38). From 25/09 to 28/09/2018, you can talk to the radar experts on site about radar in the field of security technology. Further information on innovative radar technology can be found on InnoSenT GmbH’s company homepage.
InnoSenT solves the challenges of video surveillance with new radar system
Donnersdorf (Germany), April 11, 2018 - The radar experts at InnoSenT GmbH have developed a radar system designed especially for combination with surveillance cameras. By simply adding the sensor to the CCTV, false alarms are reduced and efficiency is increased thanks to the targeted use of video recording.
"The growing demand for security in the modern age is forcing the security industry to constantly improve its products and develop its technology further." says Robert Mock, President & CEO at InnoSenT GmbH. He goes on to explain the problem that many manufacturers of security cameras face: "Weather conditions and poor lighting can cause even sophisticated cameras to struggle. The result is false alarms. In terms of customer satisfaction, however, such false alarms are difficult to tolerate. The time and effort required to watch the video material and the enormous amount of data generated are further disadvantages for the user due to high costs involved."
The iSYS-5010 radar system from InnoSenT GmbH is being used to solve this security problem and is designed to optimise camera surveillance of outdoor areas. The radar technology provides additional information about the distance, movement or speed of a recorded object. This allows the video recording to be processed efficiently and ensure easier assessment of the risk situation. Data media, time and power are saved and the work of the security personnel is made simpler. Reliable monitoring is also assured of company and industrial premises in poor visibility.
