Provides an inspection of personnel to prevent removal of critical metallic objects from warehouses or production facilities; Discovers very small metallic items while ignoring non-removable metals; Detects items carried anywhere on and inside the body.
The superior uniformity of the electromagnetic field of the SMD601 Plus Metal Detector provides very consistent metal detection readings on every transit.
This ground-breaking capability allows for individual creation of personal metallic signatures or metallic "profiles".
The CEIA G-SCAN Gamma Detector is a sensitive radioactive substance detector, designed to operate in tandem with X-ray scanners to inspect hand baggage. The Gamma Detector can be installed at the entrance or the exit of the scanner, and operates completely independently.
After switching on, the device carries out a brief phase of self-calibration, signalled via a yellow light. The operative state of the detector is then confirmed by a green light.
If radioactive substances are detected, the G-SCAN provides an acoustic alarm and a blue optical signal on both sides of the scanner. Any self-diagnostic alarms are signalled by a red light.
The device is constructed in stainless steel material and features great reliability and stability throughout its working life. The detection sensitivity of the G-SCAN complies with the regulations in force for radiation detectors for the inspection of people and goods.
CEIA is proud to present the new PD240 Hand Held Metal Detector, a development of the well-established PD140 model. The PD240 is a Hand Held Metal Detector that combines high reliability and ergonomics with advanced detection and operator signaling features. Effective sensitivity to all metals, full compliance with the latest Security Standards and high immunity to external metal masses are among the main peculiarities of this new device.
The illegal use of cell phones is a growing and dangerous problem in correctional institutions worldwide. These devices are a significant threat to prison security and circumvent the monitoring processes in prisons, while helping inmates commit new crimes both inside and outside the facility.
CEIA MSD was specifically designed to detect all cell phones and other contraband concealed on the person or in body cavities (including key fob cell phones, smart phones, radio transceivers, etc.) quickly and easily.
The CEIA MSD is a one-piece, portable and full-height ferromagnetic detector that combines high reliability and ergonomics with advanced detection and operator signalling features.
The one-piece design allows the CEIA MSD to be easily transported and operational in 10 seconds.
The PMD2 Plus is a zonal Metal Detector characterised by excellent discrimination towards metal personal effects, even when set to high security levels. Thanks to its advanced technology, the PMD2 Plus is a Metal Detector which allows accurate pinpointing of weapons in transit and a high flow rate.
The EMIS-MAIL is designed to detect a wide variety of metal threat items including detonators, batteries, trigger circuits and other metal components of parcel bombs without false alarms for non-threat items such as metal staples, paper clips and metal binding spirals.
The EMIS-MAIL is very easy to use and provides a fast and automatic alarm/no alarm signal confirmation per each inspected package. Its compact, ergonomic design along with the electric and built-in NiMH rechargeable battery power supply allows for independent operation in a variety of locations. An optional embedded radioactive detector is also available for radioactive material threat detection.
The EMIS-MAIL is uniquely qualified to operate in a prison or correctional facility environment with specific settings available for prison parcel inspection. Along with meeting the strictest safety and security standards, EMIS-MAIL is also compliant with the EU Regulation 185/2010 for the inspection of letters and parcels.
The EMA is a compact device designed for the analysis of liquid containers and their contents with the goal of detecting the possible presence of explosive precursors and explosive liquids.
The content of the bottles is analyzed without the need to open the container as the detection is effected using simultaneous multiple sensing technologies.
The housing of the analyser, which is extremely robust, durable and easy to clean, is made of AISI 304 Stainless Steel and anti-friction plastic.
The Analyser consists of a main body, a control panel and an analysis compartment. In case of open containers such as cups and thermos flasks, it is possible to carry out the analysis by means of the type A integrated analyser (optional), using small disposable plastic sample cups to be inserted into an external probe.
CEIA is one of the most important leading manufacturer of Security Metal Detectors that this year celebrates its 50 Anniversary in the Industry of Metal Detection and Electromagnetic Inspection Equipment. CEIA devices for Airport Security comply with the requirements specified by the competent authorities, providing automatic detection for metal targets/threats over the entire body.
In addition to the Walk-through series characterized by extremely high performance in terms of both detection capability and transit flow, CEIA security has developed innovative solutions in order to increase the Security Checkpoint: the Hand Held series, the EMA Bottled Liquid Scanner and the company latest introduction of the SAMDEX shoe scanner for automatic detection of explosives and metallic threats.
Furthermore, for Cargo Screening CEIA launched the EMIS (Electro-Magnetic Inspection Scanner) a solution that drastically improves the security of non-metallic commercial cargo such as flowers and perishable goods, paper products, textile, clothing, plastic and wooden products.
This method of inspection provides automatic and cost-saving control of packages and pallets using a harmless, low intensity electromagnetic field to ensure there are no explosive relevant devices hidden within.
