In 2008, despite the global financial crisis, the World Fair for Security and Fire Prevention recorded the best result in ist entire successful history. Some 80% of the exhibitors assessed the development of the market as positive. Almost one visitor in two at security essen 2008 is planning to implement new security concepts, virtually one in five intends to invest more than EUR 500,000 in security. Roughly 90% of the exhibitors and 92% of the visitors started after the last security essen: „We’ll be back again in 2010“.
