GfS SMARTDisplay

GfS SMARTDisplay

The innovative GfS SMARTDisplay is a control center for monitoring 8, 16, 32 or 64 doors in escape and rescue routes. The 7" capacitive touch color display enables the operator to have an overview of the current door status, to enable or parameterize individual (or all) escape route security devices via a BUS line. Messages such as emergency opening, door open for too long, sabotage, individual release and permanent release provide a precise overview of door use. Statistics provide an overview of how paths are being used and log files of when doors are being misused. The operator can draw conclusions from this and derive measures. The signals from the escape route security devices are transmitted to the GfS SMART display via BUS lines, star-shaped wiring or radio. GfS thus closes a gap between stand-alone solutions and computer-based building management solutions.

The operator has the choice between the display in the form of door lists and the display in a customer-specific site plan. Thanks to the graphic user interface, installation and configuration is extremely easy and requires no special computer knowledge. In the case of frequent changes of use, the central activation and parameterization saves long distances in the building and significantly increases transparency.

GfS SMARTTerminal

GfS SMARTTerminal

The innovative GfS SMARTTerminal is offered in the variants PUR, PRAXIS and PLUS. The PRAXIS and PLUS variants are equipped with a 4.2" capacitive touch color display. All variants are available with an integrated power pack, as a surface-mounted and flush-mounted variant. Particular attention was paid to easy assembly and easy cylinder replacement. The GfS SMARTTerminal is available in different colors. checked according to EltVTR and meets the requirements of EN 13637.

First of all, the touch display is an effective communication interface to the user. The user receives clear instructions for action through symbols and plain text. This is especially helpful in emergencies. The guesswork as to which blinking and which acoustic signal means what is over.

A clear menu structure on the touch display enables the operator to parameterize each individual device himself without additional programming tools and thus, for example, to set the alarm duration and volume, hold-open and pick-up and drop-off times according to requirements. These parameters often only become clear after installation. Requirements also change over time. Thanks to the integrated touch display, the operator can respond to this at any time and without additional costs and make individual settings on the GfS SMART terminal (e.g. also store the telephone numbers of the responsible caretaker or security service). Events at the door are logged in the logbook and can be read on the touch display.

In larger building complexes, the integrated code keypad makes it possible to distinguish between users and security personnel. Employees can enter a code on the GfS SMARTterminal without a key to enter the escape route door. Security personnel are given the key to acknowledge the alarm if necessary. As a result, the group of key recipients can be kept small.

Together with the GfS SMARTTerminal, GfS is also introducing the robust escape door strike 77NF325 (resistance to forced entry 7500N). With its closed-circuit principle, it is specially designed for locking escape route doors. The functionality of the door is always guaranteed under a preload of max. 4500 N. It has integrated feedback and anchor contacts, as well as a flex latch that can be adjusted by 3mm. With its installation dimensions (HxWxD) 134 mm x 23.20 mm x 39 mm, it can be installed both vertically and horizontally.

Company profile

G

GfS - Gesellschaft für Sicherheitstechnik mbH, a leading provider of easy-to-install, robust escape route security solutions, is increasing its commitment in the market segment for electric door locking systems.

The GfS SMARTDisplay and the GfS SMARTTerminal will be presented for the first time at Security Essen.

What both smart solutions have in common is the integrated touch display. This enables effective communication with the user. Alarm states and the measures derived from them can be visualized. Thanks to a clear, self-explanatory menu structure, the devices can be parameterized at any time without extensive training by authorized persons.
